Made it to Boise in a very timely manner. Really hate having to do connections but there's no choice. Always a good indicator that a city is too small for me if there aren't direct flights. Was kinda weird knowing Salt Lake was right outside. Wanted to call Thayne, Zaq, or Sara to see what was going on.
The mini-plane I rode up in was totally cramped as I sat next to a woman with a child on her lap. He was fussing then downright screaming before take off. She looked so exhausted and I didn't help by saying, “This will be the best flight ever!” as we were settling in.
No way she was over 25. Very cute and had the boyfriend/father recently home from Iraq. She was also attending a cousin's graduation but further west in Oregon. Got talking a bit until Jeremiah fell asleep. She was adorable with him. She'd tickle his bottom lip to get him to react and I couldn't help but laugh. He'll be two next month and I was jealous to the point of tears.
Great to be off the plane. My car reservation wasn't until 11:30pm MST so I decided to waste some time in the terminal where the WiFi is free. It's a good twenty minutes to get there so I guess I should head out. None of the airport food looks appealing. Surprise.
