In my ignorance I continue to be amazed at how the Dow is such an accurate leading indicator. Sort of watching with a morbid fascination at what companies are going to fall. Was surprised to see Circuit City filing Chapter 11. The retail devastation this Season will be telling.

Relived both that the election is over and that McCain/Palin were so soundly defeated. It was amazing the types of straws Republicans were grasping at and how well they worked. New York was fun. There were a myriad of things to see and do. Catching what I could was exhausting without even realizing it until the train ride home. AndrewFashion was a great tour guide and often kept up better than I did.

Grabbing the mail I had a little sticker saying a package had been delivered to my apartment. Everything I've ordered in the last month has already arrived so I picked the flat, plain brown mailer up off the floor with some confusion. Been pretty quiet this week. Work stress is increasing so I tend to be a little more focused when I'm there. Then gaming a lot when I get home. There's Halloween and the Lich King events so it's pretty distracting along with the extra raiding. Black Temple is now so trivial we did a quick TK and SSC on Thursday which was nice.
