I go see that, too. And I'd be interested in hearing Feral Children also.

Did you like The Dark Knight, giant blockbuster that it was? What about that Herzog film about Antarctica?

"...whatever that one is that uses 100 year old clip art." MARRIED TO THE SEA, eh?

THAT SALTY AIR is great! Insider or not. Hopefully we won't have to wait 3 more years for another one. More Intrepideers!?

You dislike web comics?

That Nancy & Sluggo idea is the most romantic thing I've ever heard...ever. But the Wimpy idea is good too; you would have to start getting into more fights that would warrant you taking your shirt off as an intimidation tactic.

Michel Gondry is putting out comics now? Weird. He definitely falls into the realms of "arty-farty", but I've had a soft spot for the guy since seeing BLOCK PARTY.

Much of that first paragraph applies to all the Internet. Too easy...too much crap...put out with very little thought. That being said, I concur. I don't understand why anyone would ever would want to buy an eBook. Good (and sorta weird) to see some webcomics getting printed.

Just started reading BODY WORLD. We should totally try and play a game of Dieball this spring/summer.

I also am an love with Olivier Schrauwen. Have you read his deeply strange and wonderful My Boy? If you haven't, it's drawn in a perfect Winsor McCay style. He also has a thing in the Scandinavian compilation Glomp which looks totally different from the other two stories (that I've seen)!

I need to check out Josh Simmons and Tim Sievert. I agree with your list. It was a good year.
