I saw a comic the other day that claimed that gay marriage was the biggest piece of anti-gay propaganda yet. Their logic was:

1) Being gay is genetic.
2) Thus passing on of gay genes to the next generation requires gay people having children.
3) In the past this has happened because society has shamed gay people into hiding their orientation and marryinging and producing children.
4) Acceptance of homosexuality will thusly slowly weed homosexual genes out of the gene pool.
5) Therefore, acceptance of homosexuals and gay marriage is secret anti-homosexual propaganda.
6) George Bush supports gay people and is trying to PROTECT them from this heinus act of opression (they didn't say as much but it's pretty obvious given their reasoning).

Of course, it was intended as a joke, not as an actual serious commentary. Wish I had a link I could post.
