This is the first time all week that I've really craved a soda of some sort. I'm sure it's due to the fact that I feel tired/sluggish this morning and could use a little "pick me up". However, I'm not going to give in. I'm resisting the temptation

Thanks! I resisted that urge plus an urge to go to a Chinese buffet for lunch. I hit the salad bar at stop'n'shop instead!

I wish I knew when I was going to be done. I'm hoping to hit my mid-term in the next few weeks. After that, it'll really depend on how quickly I can pick up on actual transcribing from listening. Once you get past the mid-term, that's basically what you do until you get to the final. There are various sections of actual transcribing that go from beginner level to higher levels. You work your way through transcribing probably 100's of reports until you reach the final exam.
