First Real Day of School.

Sep 09, 2006 13:38

Yesterday was my first actual day of school; the day before didn't count, as it was just about receiving supplies and schedules and attending a school gathering.

As it turned out, HTML and Spanish 1 are during the same period, so I dropped the former in order to take the latter.

Right now, it appears that this year's English class will be better ( Read more... )

How interesting! The way your schedule is composed, I mean. We have 6 class period per day, each about 55 minutes long, and we have those same classes all week long. I kind of like the way your school does it better, however.

Sounds like you'll be just as busy as I am this year. Good luck!

Yes -- my school sets up its schedule somewhat differently. They manage to fit pretty much everything into the day, but unfortunately, 40 minutes is too short for some of my classes.

Thank you, and good luck to you as well! :D

Dear Convent Queen,

Three periods of Dr. Wool? In a row? WEEKLY?
*faints*
He's a very nice teacher (and his anecdotes rock), but I couldn't stand that.

I'm sooooorry I can't join you in G&RH, but espanol esta llamando (Spanish is calling). GAH.

Ms. Jacobs reminded me a little of Mrs. Mattingly. I don't know exactly why. Maybe it was the fact that she seemed a little too gentle. *shrugs*

AP US History is taught by...?

I never thought I would be saying this, but Health actually seems fun. I'm looking forward to ninth period every day now.

About the math homework, do we do what Madame Couturie wrote on the yellow sheet or what she wrote on the board? (Find the sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant, cosecant of angle theta with opposite side 4 and hypotenuse 8?) Or both?
Ms. Couturie seemed both likable and really intimidating at the same time. Odd.

Dear King of the Heretics,

Yeaahh. It's not too bad, though.

That's a shame, Jason. It's buckets o' fun already. :D

Mr. Gould. You haven't had him. His style is quite different from Dr. Case and especially Mr. Stapp.

I agree -- health does seem a bit more fun this year. I was just sick of all this talk about nutrition.

And... er... I can't answer your question about the math at this time, since it already happened. XD

Thanks. :)

I know! You can imagine how excited Maia was. So this means you have to come watch when we perform it. Okay? Okay?! :D

Have you heard the music for The Secret Garden. I haven't.... Is it any good? I remember liking the book, though.

... What? Majored what? 0_o
