a good Catholic supply store will sell zucchettos (they ain't cheap). you can also find them on eBay (naturally!)

Yeah. Plus, it's not like I have any future in the microbiological field, so I'm not too sad to see it go.

XD Ah, that'd be an easy way to combine my two loves, but I don't know if I'd be able to pull it off. NaNo ought to be lots of fun, though.

I saw somewhere that a zucchetto is around $45 or something... but eBay is always an option, of course.

yeah ~ $45 seems harsh to me. but then, i be po'.

i think you should go for it: a monastery in the foothills of some sleepy state that suddenly gets caught in the crossfire (and then overtaken by one side or the other to be used as a hospital perhaps), and then you have soldiers and monks and monks and soldiers and just think of the possibilities!

All-nighters do suck. :( I did manage to survive without falling asleep in class for any lengthy amount of time, so I'm rather proud of myself for that. I'll probably sleep like a rock tonight.

Hear, hear. They're just so cool. I mean, who knew that the Church had so many different kinds of vestments? I'm seriously considering asking for a zucchetto for my birthday. That'd be awesome beyond belief! :D
