“I’m finished up in Zonko’s, we can head to the Three Broomsticks now,” Oliver said, smiling at Percy when he joined him outside.
“Great, I’ve been waiting for a nice, cold Butterbeer.”
The two of them began to walk that way, enjoying the bright, sunny day in Hogsmeade. It was their seventh year, and this was actually their second-to-last Hogsmeade Weekend. It had become a tradition of sorts - the two of them spending the weekends together. They’d made their rounds and then end their day at the Three Broomsticks.
Percy suddenly came to a stop.
Oliver slowed, turning to look at him. “What’s up?”
Percy looked at him. “What are we doing?”
“Getting Butterbeer,” Oliver offered in confusion.
“No… I mean this… Us…” He said, gesturing between the two of them. “Are we actually dating?”
Oliver considered his words. “I guess, yeah. I mean, I never thought of putting a label on it, but I really like you, Perce, and I’d like to be dating, if you want to make it official.”
Percy stepped closer, taking Oliver’s hand. “Yeah, I’d like to make it official.”
Oliver grinned, squeezing Percy’s hand. “Now, let’s go get some Butterbeers.”
Holding hands still, the two of them made it to the Three Broomsticks. To their surprise, no one even batted an eye at the two of them together. It seemed everyone else had just assumed they were together officially. Now, Oliver and Percy were on the same page as well.
