Pairings Challenge: Potion Rewards , Hermione/Tracey

Title: Potion Rewards
Pairing and number: Hermione/Tracey, 3
Prompt: potions classroom

Summary Tracey is promised a reward when Hermione helps her with potions.
Notes this is for the 5drabbles challenge, and the 'Up to 50 Pairings' challenge.
Tracey tried to listen as Hermione explained about the potion they were going to try and make.
Although the majority of her peers - including her girlfriend - had mastered it, she was still struggling.
“Do you understand what I mean?” Hermione asked.
The truth was Tracey had no idea as she had been staring at her lips the entire time despite hearing the words. They had gone in one ear and out the other.
Traecy bit her lip and blushed.
“I’m trying to help you, Tracey. I can’t do that if you’re not listening to me,” she said exasperated.
“I got a little distracted,” she confessed.
Hermione’s brow rose.
“It’s not my fault that your lips look luscious today.”
“How about I make you a deal?” Hermione asked. “You get this potion right and I will give you as many kisses as you want.”
“That sounds perfect,” Tracey replied, smiling.
“Okay, the first thing we will do is go over the ingredients to make sure we’ve got everything, and then we will measure all of them out.”
The two of them checked everything thoroughly before starting to read the recipe.
When they had done it in class, Tracey hadn’t shaken the porcupine quills enough and instead turning red, the potion turned a bright pink.
Hermione’s, as always, was perfect. Which was why Tracey had asked for her help.
Once they got to that stage, Hermione showed her what she had to do to make it right.
“I shook mine for a good two minutes to make sure it was right, and I started five minutes after I put the syrup of hellebore in,” Hermione told her.
When she put it in the potion turned red like it should. Now it was up to her to finish it properly.
“Thank you, Hermione,” Tracey said, grateful for the help.
“It’s no problem,” she replied, smiling.
At that moment Professor Snape came out of his office and walked towards them.
After peering into the cauldron, he said, “Good effort so far, Miss Davies. Once you’ve finished please leave a sample on my desk so I can review it. If only Mr Potter and Mr Weasley would listen to you, Miss Granger. They may not cause so many accidents in class.”
With that, he left the classroom.
“As if Harry and Ron would do extra potions homework. They hate it because of Professor Snape,” Hermione scoffed.
“You could always try, love,” Tracey suggested.
“I will, but I doubt it will work. Harry is so angry at the moment.”
Tracey decided that after they had finished she would make her girlfriend forget about the outside world for a bit. Even if they just spent hours kissing.
