Now Introducing: The Chain Reaction SuperChallenge!
To bridge the gap between our Winter 2008 and Spring 2009 events, we are introducing... The Chain Reaction SuperChallenge!
HERE'S HOW THIS FICATHON WILL WORK
→ Pick a character - any character - you feel comfortable writing. [Let's call this Character A.]
→ We have a list of 14 males and 14 females, from which you must select your second character. [This character we shall call Character D.]
→ You then must write a fic or a set of drabbles in which Character A must end up with Character D by first going through Characters B and C (two additional characters that you get to choose).
To illustrate:
Let's say I feel most comfortable writing Ginny Weasley, and I choose Zacharias Smith from the list. I then write a fic where Ginny encounters (either romantically or not) Oliver, then Gwenog Jones, before ending up with Zacharias.
I chose to use Oliver and Gwenog as the middle characters, but I could have used anyone else, as long as all the pairings involved are rare.
→ Upper word count limit is 2000 words. If you go a little over, don't stress too much about it.
→ You are of course more than welcome to complete multiple submissions.

THE SIGN-UP FORM
Admittedly, this challenge is a little tough. Therefore, signing up DOES NOT commit you to completing this SuperChallenge, but it would be GREAT if you did follow through. Our hope is that it will inspire some of you and push your limits.
