Pansy Parkinson was whispering to Draco again. Ginny watched, eyes narrowed, as the dark-haired Slytherin leaned in close to that Malfoy git, her short hair falling gracefully over her face as the two of them conspired. Draco smiled slowly and glanced over at the Gryffindor table, eyes glittering with the promise of mischief.
"Ginny, did you complete that Astronomy chart yet?" Hermione Granger was sitting beside her, completely oblivious to the goings on at the Slytherin table. "You really ought to do your assignments as soon as possible; I find I remember things better that way."
Pansy was giggling now, swatting Draco on the arm flirtatiously. Ginny growled deep in her throat and gulped down her glass of juice, eyes narrowed dangerously. "It'll get done," she said angrily to Hermione; homework was the least of her worries right now.
Michael Corner glanced over from his spot with the Ravenclaws. "Oi, Gin, are we still on for Hogsmeade next weekend?"
Ginny saw Ron glaring at her from the corner of her eye. Over at the Slytherins, Pansy hadn't even looked their way. "Bugger this," Ginny said angrily, kicking her chair out from under her.
Hermione and Michael stared at her in shock. "Gin?" Michael asked worriedly; his mates began to laugh at him.
"Parkinson," Ginny snapped, marching up to the girl with her hands on her hips.
"What do you want, Weasley?" Malfoy sneered, giving her a look of disgust.
"Can I help you?" Pansy asked, looking Ginny up and down with interest.
"Get up," Ginny said firmly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Pardon?" Pansy's eyes narrowed.
"Stand. Up," Ginny said loudly, earning the attention of nearly everyone in the Great Hall.
Pansy's eyes searched hers curiously as the Slytherin girl slowly rose from her seat, facing Ginny in the midst of everyone. She stared at Ginny fearfully, warning her with her eyes, her fingers curling into nervous fists by her sides. "Weasley, you really need to learn your place."
"You mean here?" Ginny asked, flashing Pansy a quick grin before yanking the Slytherin's robes and pulling Pansy in for a deep kiss, thrusting her tongue into Parkinson's mouth before the entire school.
Pansy flailed helplessly for a moment before grabbing hold of Ginny's arms and returning the kiss, her hands sliding up Ginny's shoulders and nestling gently in Ginny's long hair. Pansy moaned sweetly into Ginny's mouth, her fingers playing with Ginny's smooth red locks.
Several people began to whoop and cheer, while Ron and Draco stared with open-mouthed disgust. "Un-bloody believable," Ron cried, starting to rise from his seat, before Hermione yanked him back down with an expression of amused satisfaction.
Ginny pulled back from the kiss, staring deeply into Pansy's eyes with a mischievous look. "And that's what you get for thinking I'd be happy just sneaking around," she said smugly, giving Pansy's arse a quick squeeze.
"Bloody Gryffindors," Pansy replied, but she was grinning. "I suppose this means you want to start going together in public like a couple of dykes?"
"If you're up for it," Ginny replied with a wink. She swatted Pansy's bottom and blew her another kiss before sauntering back to her table, feeling a lot better about things.
Pansy was panting and flushed as she took her seat beside Draco. "Pass the butter, would you?" She asked calmly.
"Parkinson, are you out of your mind? She's a Weasley, for Salazar's sake! They're blood traitors!" Draco's eyes were boggling out of his skull.
"Oh, sod off, Draco," said Pansy, buttering her bread with a very pleased smile on her face.
