Ohhhh wow, this was incredible. Absolutely incredible. I could just sense Narcissa's desperate longing, and ughhhh, those middle chapters just felt so HOPELESS, my heart just broke for her over and over whenever Andy rejected her. That ending, though, was so hopeful and so intense! All through, I was hoping that she just distanced herself out of denial, not out of actual disinterest (ngl, I was absolutely certain that was it!), and I wasn't disappointed <3333. I loved everything about this, thank you SO much for writing this for me, it was truly everything I could have hoped for! <333

I am so delighted and relieved that you like it! I haven't written Blackcest before but I saw your prompts and knew I was doing this pairing :-) Narcissa's life is already so angsty in canon, it felt like fertile ground for a story of wanting something you believe you can't ever have.. for decades! Andy is the older sister and probably felt like she had a duty to stop Narcissa in this and not encourage her, poor thing, but yes, it was never actual disinterest. She was in love with Ted, too, of course, and that's her angst here. I am so glad you liked the happy ending for them! They still have things to figure out, but they'll be okay. 🖤💛
