I love this!!!!!! *_____* It was so cute that I had to reread the first 100 words about three times because I couldn't concentrate through all my giggling and cooing.

How adorable is this?!??!?!?!?
The onyx-coloured dragon waddles onto land with a twitching, barbeled fish in its jaws, wriggling excitedly and prancing to where Yixing sits to show off his kill.

And Tao tearing down half a tree to help with the firewood xDDD

And them sleeping all snuggly and curled up ;;;A;;; <3

I love how you included the story about Yixing's village, it gave the characters just enough depth and backstory and made this whole little world just work (which is not an easy feat in under 2.5k words so ^____^b )

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME. I HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH THIS, because cat-like dragons are very much Zitao, in my mind. The perfect attitude, even.

I did try to make it all fit without getting too wordy. Once I hit a point, I just lose steam. I'm so pleased that didn't happen with this, and that you liked it so much!
Aaand I see a typo. The very elusive deer fish, apparently. Whoops.

I honestly realised way after the fact that each fic I wrote for you had Zitao. He's one of the hardest for me to write, and I did three fics. Go me. I almost did four, fun fact, but I ran out of time and steam. I still want to finish it, even though there is no Tao.

This is nice. This reminds me of the movie How to Train Your Dragon with Yixing being Hiccup and Zitao being Toothless. :)
