Anti-OTP: Gabrielle/Curio

May 20, 2008 13:18

Gabrielle sits under a tree sketching, a blanket spread neatly beneath her to protect her skirts. The forms taking place on the page are nymphs, peering out from a forest, their smiles sly and secret. It's a beautiful day, and she smiles like her nymphs as she works.

*something in her smile draws Curio; he kneels by her blanket, not quite looking over her hands at the paper, but implying by his posture that he would very much like to* What workest thou upon the parchment here?

She turns the page so Curio can see. "Just a few sketches. I might paint them, if I like them well enough."

*grinning, looking at the sketches* I knew a painter once, near skilled as thou--but nothing like so fair to look upon.

"No? That's too bad." A grin. "It does wonders for your ability to sell." Gabrielle is not one to argue with compliments.
