Okay, matching is all done, and assignments have gone out. There should be four assignments going out to the pinch hit list soon, so if you’re signed up for that, keep an eye out for them

Did the AO3 people ever figure out what the issue was?

One of the sign-ups didn’t match the collection settings (we’re not sure how it got through), and instead of AO3 recognizing that as an error, it kept running the matching in loops (which I had suspected since I kept seeing AO3 generating matches for the same sign-ups over and over.)

They ran the matching for us, with changes to allow that one sign-up through, but the results were still messed up for that (we came back with, like, 30+ people unmatched, with the results showing weird repeats). So I just fixed that sign-up and ran the matching again, and that finally worked.

I wonder if it happened because four characters are now unassociated with fandoms on the tagset?

Okay, that’s my fault for changing the date in the letters first and sending out assignments before changing the date on the collection. I didn’t realize that that date would also show up in the letters sent to you guys. So you guys essentially now have two dates in your letters, just discard the earlier one.
