Just a reminder that all stories are due tonight.  The initial deadline was midnight tonight, but I'll be up till about 4 am (CST), and will close the archive at that time.   SO you'll have a few extra hours to write, if you need them

Yes, just upload the story to Ao3 under the Rarewomen2014 collection once it's done. :)

I'm not a mod, but I've played before, so I think that I can answer your question. Yes, it's normal. :-) No stories get approved until all the stories are in. (Or almost all stories, if we unfortunately have defaults.)

Besides, those of us still writing can't afford the distraction of other people's stories being released before we're done. :-) Too tempting! :-)

Just checking because I'm not sure what "CST" is - timeanddate.com is giving me a Central America and a China zone. (Thanks, timeanddate.com, I'm sure CST IS used all year in Regina, but I have no idea where Regina is.) Is 4am CST four hours past the original deadline, or six, or...?

My story has been uploaded but I am a bit anxious about the 'close' message. I want to re-read it again when I am fresh at which point I undoubtedly will see errors I cannot see at the moment (typos and such-like) and I'll want to correct.

Will I still be able to correct them tomorrow?

Yes, you can make edits on your stories right up till the reveals. And, well, technically even after, but I assume that none of us want unedited drafts going live when the archive opens. ;)

Here's hoping everyone gets their stories uploaded on time so you don't have lots of last minute pinch hits (which I know are always stressful for a moderator).
