I tried it a few times. My best score was 95 - I tried another test and got answers between 105 and 135. I conclude that typing random words while reading them is a lot harder than typing english sentences while reading them. Unix commands would probably be easier still for me, especially since almost all of them are only two or three letters per word ;-)
I'll bet I can burst "ssh -l drachen tty.freeshell.org" or a number of other frequently used commands with more than three letters in them (or at least in the options) at greater than 100wpm.
I could only get this one to let me try once, though. After that it would let me type and then hang on the calculations, and that was on the machine that copes well with javascript.
what I need is to do is alias "ls" to "dir" under xp...it's amazing how often I confuse myself that way.
A good typist can do 60wpm, so I'm not surprised that people at work are telling you you're fast. ;)
(Sheer and I have both spent our youths and young adulthoods practically chained to our computers. In fact, we originally met on my high school's bbs, so we're probably unhealthily fast typists. Well, me anyway. Sheer still makes enough money at it that he has an excuse :P )
