well, first off way to have the balls to post with a name. second, it's not about a day of drinking, it's about the school banning something that it should have no authority over, and that kids will drink anyway. LYKE OMG i hope you don't live.
while i don't drink and am not interested in doing so, i wholeheartedly agree.
i like how the university thinks it can stop unofficial. however, what i think may be happening is they're being pressured by parents to do something, and when they don't *actually* think anything is going to happen, they do *this* as a way to appease the parents. i wish that for just ONCE school officials and authorities would have the balls to tell the parents it's not any of the school's business and that if they want their child to change, that it is THEIR job... not the schools.
