I used to be obsessed with ebay and now I'm obsessed with craigslist. I check it multiple times a day. I've sold a few things on there and bought some stuff too. My fabric. And four black shadow box shelves about a week ago. Corey even said to me the other day that he's going to block that site so I can't go on it anymore. LOL.

We too need some nice book shelves and a dresser, instead of the crappy ones we have now. If only I could find things that are cheap but don't look cheap.

The problem with eBay (besides the shipping costs) is that I am way too impatient and want whatever item I'm bidding on NOW. I've only used craigslist for apartment hunting until now, and I think I'm going to have to limit my time there because it's way too tempting. Couldn't pass up the dresser, though.

And I hear ya abut cheap-looking shelves and dressers. I hate that everything in our price range is "particle board" and not actual wood, and some of the time even the wooden pieces looks really flimsy and cheap. I sound so snotty complaining, my this is my first REAL furniture -- I want it to be quality.

I've only ever used the Buy It Now option on eBay. Whenever possible I avoid conflict.

I've only acquired this gift during the past year, but I hope my lucky streak continues! My mother (and Zack, to some extent) has a talent for this kind of stuff, too. Maybe it's genetic?
