Poll: The Rachel-Aaron Strawberry Shortcake Debate!

How do you make strawberry shortcake?
(Please leave answers as comments, because my free account prohibits real polls.)

Choice A: Aaron's Recipe
• Place shortcake/biscuit/pound cake into bowl
• Add freshly sliced strawberries
• Sprinkle sugar over cake and berries
• Add milk until cake is 1/3-covered

Oh! Not together. ;) But both A and B are excellent options, but the milk should definitely be replaced with half and half.

I decidedly fit into category A. I can't imagine not putting milk on my strawberry shortcake. I don't know about the rest of the central PAers, but in my family, Grandma always made a Bisquick cake that was very dry for the shortcake. The addition of milk makes it soft, not soggy. If you're having ice cream with strawberries, such as at local church strawberry festivals, there is no cake involved.
