Asylum 2009 Report Part Five - Sunday Morning

Jun 02, 2009 20:11

4,291 words... and apparently my wrist can take no more... and I'm starving!

So, a new day dawns...

Sunday Morning... I now have a Mama's and Papa's song in my head for some reason... )

No way?! COOL! :D

Aaaaaahhh... you were a Red Shirt Who Wasn't Wearing A Red Shirt... is it correct that a load of you guys got co-opted to work cause everything was so busy? I really did feel for you guys, the amount of stuff you must have had to miss, in order to help out! I really really hope the majority of people were being reasonable? I know there were some very frustrated people (someone actually SHOUTED at my sister to get out of their way!) but hopefully most people remembered that they were there to have a good time... *hugs*

And thank you very much for the kind comment :o)

they were very shortstaffed, this is true ^^; tho i kinda sorta helped without being asked, lol. since i had done artwork for the con, they paid my way there, but there ended up being problems with the printer, so no art :(
HOPEFULLY, it should be coming to people anyway, but because the art wasn't there at the time, i felt like i hadn't earned my keep (so to speak) and decided to help out as much as i could.

you probably saw me too :laughs: and i hope i wasn't the one who yelled at your sister to get out of the way. i did some yelling, but tried to stay as polite as i could ^^;

no, it was one of the convention goers who, after looking right at her belly and therefore knowing she was pregnant, said 'oh for f**k's sake, just GET OUT OF THE WAY!' - even though she wasn't actually in anyone's way... some people are just so rude!

yeah, i always have a quick look at the journal's of people who comment to me and i saw your post about that picture - it really is amazing! and you were on the bus with everyone from/to london? cool!
