Very Merry Questions

Inspired by a conversation with a friend...

Do you consider Christmas a religious holiday, personally?

Do you think that, on a broad, general, public scale, that Christmas is still a religious holiday? Or has it evolved into something different, with different meanings?

musings, holidays

Personally I do, as I'm into intents and purposes. It's more in America and some of the "west" that christmas has become devoid of its original meaning (one could argue true meaning), and been given reasons such as "love" or "family." Kind of like celebrating presidents day because of the marathon (only slightly more important, being the second most important christian holiday).
