Turkey fest is almost over. I’m at my aunt’s house in Santa Ana (on my mom’s side) today. They’re doing this Hmong ceremony to bring in the New Year since all the family is here. Woke up early today to go volunteer with kids, it was fun and I got a paper turkey hand out of it. Todd this eight year old is my new friend who gave me his paper turkey, he’s an adorable redhead with a zillion freckles. Tonight I attended the last event for the Southeast Asian Film Series. It was amazing I’ve been going the last 4 week straight and enjoyed the many people and discussions taken placed. Oh my gawd. I just finished a Battlestar Galactica marathon with my friends the last two night. Tonight we finally got done with season 2 and season 3 will be on air in October.
