I know Seth was talking to Rose (the owner of Retroactive) the other day, she mentioned having a warehouse full of leather, fur, leather scraps, things made of leather, etc. You might try talking to her and see if she can hook you up. Or get together with a bunch of other folks and try'n get a bulk leather deal going. She seemed eager to get rid of some of it. Good Luck. :D

(BTW in case you don't know, Retroactive is in the North Anthony shopping strip, down from Old Crown coffee shop.)

I can't talk to her. My Anti-Hippy impluses got turned to "Kill" the time I set foot in there :)

Having attached things to pleather, canvas, and other such things... I recommend Suede, whole-heartedly. I believe Sam currently has a wholseale membership to Tandy Leather....Not sure what I have in my stock right now.

What weight of Suede?
3-1/2 to 4 oz? More/Less?

Suede's much easier like Shane said. If you want leather anyways, or knows someone who wants some, I have quite a bit of thick stuff I have little use for. Let me know, and I can a roll down for IN SL. If you want it sooner, I can probably send it down with someone that backs down to glares and loud voices...

That'd be nice of you but I didn't know Andy was coming down. Mwahah.
Bring whatever you've can for me to look at - I'm sure I can wait for IN SL; my bandwagon isn't taking off until June or July MI game. If I can make it into something that I can wear and attach plates to, I'll likely be pretty pleased.
