So I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sad and disappointed that for some of my closest friends my birthday was only worth mentioning a day later or not at all even. I'm sorry I was late with your birthday wish. I know it doesn't make it any better, but I do feel bad about it.
It's no real excuse, but I was working all weekend.
I'm glad people were around to take you out to dinner.

And by that I mean to point out that Yesterday was my sister's birthday and Sunday was the only day that I've seen her in about 3 weeks plus I had a term paper due yesterday making sunday especially scary and hectic.
