Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Just knowing you're there for me helps. As an update, the doctors have figured out that the new infection is in her stomach, but all they can do it continue to pump her full of antibiotics and hope she improves.

Make sure she knows how much you love her, Rach. I know you haven't always got along, and maybe she needs a little reminder to keep her spirits high on the road to recovery.

Your brother probably doesn't understand what's going on right now-- I wouldn't at that age, either. Your patience with him is probably doing wonders for your Dad.

We're all here for help, chica. It might not be the best Christmas ever, but it needn't be the worst for your mom, as long as you keep smiling for her. We'll be behind you every step. You have our prayers. We'll find a way to fit a proper Christmas in later, don't you worry. ^_^
