On Memorial Day, I took a stroll down Central Ave. Starting off at my dorm, I just walked west until I came to the golf course on the south side of the street. Where the golf course ends, on the north side of the street (between Lafayette and Tilton) is the Pink Palace Museum. I'm sorry. Piggly Wiggly and the Pink Palace Museum? That sounds like possibly the worst porno ever.

Also, I thought they still used analog seismographs. I guess I haven't seen any thrillers involving earthquakes made in the past twenty years, though.

They still keep them around so when there's a 'quake the reporters can have something pretty to point their cameras at, but it's mostly digital ones that do all the actual work these days.
