We got to Hickman, KY and got out of the bus to view a beautiful overlook on top of a bluff. Apparently the 1811-1812 earthquakes had caused a huge landslide, and unwitting settlers built a town on it thirty or so years later. In the 80s the Army Corps of Engineers were building a levee or floodwall or something and retriggered the landslide. It
