So anyway, in my rabid hatred for Windows, I have installed Mandrake Linux Powerpack 8.2. Yay!! It works wonderfully. Way easier to install than windows, even. Sadly, I have to keep windows around at least until school, because I have a bloody dratted winmodem, and there's no way I can get this particular one to work in Linux. If only I were a 1337 45M h3x0r. Oh well. Another problem is that my sound card only works when I'm logged in as root. I must have mis-set a permission somewhere. I wonder how long it will take me to find THAT and correct it.
Life was adventure for sure Tuesday night at work. A drunken ass came in wanting to use food stamps. We can't take food stamps. He asks my manager if she wants to take it outside! Missy is a 5'4", 24 year old woman. Yes, I'm sure she's anxious to go kick ass on a beggar who won't shut up about not being able to spend food stamps at 11 PM. So anyway, we had to call the cops and have him removed. Some people are just dumb fucks.
I realized tonight how long it's really been since I've been kissed. Fucking universe. *shakes fist*
I also broke out in hives today on my arms. That was random as hell.
Also, if you haven't yet heard, I fucking own the Saved By The Bell Board Game It's badass. The objective is to go on a date with both Zach and Slater. It's the girliest thing in the world, and I will fail every class I have for constantly playing it. Joy!
