That's the problem with the first ammendment. We CAN do these things, but most of the time we shouldn't. As Americans, we have a problem with doing things in moderation. Be it drinking alcohol, eating, smoking, or voicing our so-called freedoms. It becomes an excuse not to be responsible.

"I have the FREEDOM to drink/smoke/eat/blare my music."

People have the ABILITY to do a lot of things. But that doesn't mean that we really should.

Awesome subject, I agree with you both. Still I cant help but feel that even though these acts are all becoming widely accepted and all too common, they are still shunned upon and therefore are still seen as the forbidden fruit that all Americans seem to crave. Thats just me.
