actually, i've heard about the Church of Satan. The only reason they choose to name it "Satan" is simply because he stands for rebellion in everything that is (falsely) held sacred in our christian-dominated society. From what i understand, followers of Church of Satan don't worship "Satan" and his evil nature. They practice doing whatever the heck they want to do. If that means seeking revenge, then that's fine because it's human nature. They also have rituals..which is meant to be mockery of Christianity and its rituals; at the same time though it's used to release any anger, frusteration, blah blah what not. Yeah..that's what i know about it.
