Wow. Although one might think such prefab buildings worse than my only seven storeys houseinnastreet, you have a view and greenery. And light. It was dark as night and grey and cold all day and I just crawled here again, I blame your sea for the difference in weather relief.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that looks like there's just lawn on level front of you, via the illustion of those things you call flowers. Even my fourth floor is in a canyon (and canyons really do amplify sound). Whenever they rave about our oh so livable city, I have to remind myself that I live in the disctrict with least green of all (sadly most dogs). I found mfff*s ravings about the air in our former towns overblown, but having lived only in those two places it is odd how unnatural green has become to me.
Yes I know!!! (and please don't diss my flowers *g*) (Does it make you feel better if I add that the main local railway line is hidden somewhere in the green behind the rows of smaller houses?) Eh, many dogs + urban environment is always a bad combination. And even if there's much green, only means that all the dog shit is better hidden (until you step into it). When walking through certain areas of Dresden or Berlin, I learned the hard way *always* to look where I set my feet. (...didn't you do a photo series on this topic, way back when? *g*)
I loved the view from my flat in Wales - even though the estate I lived on was a complete shithole, the view out of my living room window was a great one of the other side of the valley, much of which was farm land and forest. Here, the view I have is of a main road at the front of the property, and of a pitiful garden at the back. *le sigh*
