New Year's Eve, 5:30 pm. The impacts are coming closer.

Dec 31, 2013 17:42

The streets are deserted, only the foolhardy - and firework throwing kids -  dare to go outside at this point.
Wish me luck.

NOOOO DONT GOOO

Is it also foggy from all the exploded crackers, enhancing the war scene atmosphere?

I just turned off my mobile in case an old friend calls to pick me up to spend an enjoyable evening playing games!

...of course you did, heaven forbid you'd end up doing something nice. ;-)

(But it seems like you did get out after all, for some reason or other? Happy New Year!)

Yeah I did go there again, as per usual. The same eight male old maids spouting sexist and racist witticisms while smoking in their fraternity cave of flags and beer kegs. Luckily I lost so they could say I was being emo or sutin! And I didn't see fireworks and couldn't be hurt and depressed at that zebra crossing on my own like ever year, and knock on wood didn't get another continuation of ze flu.
I wish we'd once play something twice so that I would actually know the rules. I could do Zug um Zug and Kabale and Hiebe now *looks at you hopefully*

...hopeful for what? That I'm not going to ask what weird sounding "games" you seem to play with a bunch of guys in some dungeon at night? o_O
(...no strip poker though? *g*
