Hi... Glad to read you had a good Valentine's day and a great weekend. I've just seen one song from the musical and I loved it so I'm sure it was amazing. Happy belated Valentine's day to you as well.

Thank you for your sweet words dear and sorry I'm so late responding! Yes, I've been playing American Idiot music in my car for the last few weeks...LOL. The show was completely amazing, indeed electrifying and I recommend it with all my heart. I'll treasure the experience for always. (If you have any plans for coming to the states in the near future, it would be wonderul if you get to NYC to see it!)

He's doing great! He's almost 11 months old now and is standing up and walking along our furniture. Tomorrow he has to have his next round of vaccinations. :( I'm curious to know what his weight is though.

My dearest Caroline...thank you for your beautiful words here. I did indeed have the loveliest of Valentine's celebrations and the show was a gift we adored sharing together. Much higher spirits this year, yes yes. I have been thinking of you and saw your note about your LJ's hiatus and am so distressed that you are going through sad days. I don't want to be bothersome, but may send you a wee PM soon if that is alright. I just want you to know I am thinking of you and that my heart is with you...as you have always let me know yours is with me.
Take care sweet friend...
*many many hugs* back to you...

OMG! I thought you had said you were going to see American Idol......not that there's anything wrong with that. But I think this is definitely way cooler and certainly more memorable. And you in NYC - so close and yet so far.

We saw the American Idiot tour when they played Giants Stadium - just the most awesome, wonderful evening ever. I do have to SEE THIS SHOW!!!

OMG..that is sooo funny, that you thought I'd said Americn Idol! Well YES..this was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy cooler and...just...gah...beyond amazing..INDEED!!!
I'm still thinking about it weeks later and playing GD in my car...LOL!! YOU MUST SEE THIS SHOW! Sadly, Billie Joe finished his stretch as St Jimmy on February 27 but AFI's Davey Havok took over on March 1. The show is just extraordinary...I'm still stumbling in my efforts to describe it well enough. You feel very much alive when you leave that theater....and happy to be so.
I can only imagine how insanely glorious it was to see them in Giants Stadium on the AI tour...OMG...sighhhhhh, I am thrilled we both have such incredible memories to treasure! oh...this...music...sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I must talk at you more about all this.....♥

Thinking of you and hope all is well...we're getting more of this nasty rain, ugh!

And your Billie icon....oh my....♥swoon♥!! And it's really for me to use too? *HUGSHUGSHUGS*

Lol at my American Idol brain freeze - I knew, subliminally, that it couldn't be so, but I just let it go........wondering..............

Yes you may have my Billie Icon - I made it special for this post, after all.

About the concert at Giants Stadium - the band was so delighted that we all knew the words and actually would stop singing at certain times just to let the (huge) audience sing the chorus. And they did sing a few non-American Idiot songs, so I was hopeful.......but when they actually closed the show with Good Riddance (Time of Your LIfe) it was sheer bliss.

I am thrilled that this Rock Opera had such a joyful impact on you and Matt.
