Hey you, thank you for my first comment! I'm still getting the hang of things, just ask our dear HRS, I've been pestering her right and left and with all sorts of silly questions. My latest worry-fest was over how to change my tags to designate my vid as non-ship...LOL!

I finally got here...thanks to you dear lady!! I promise I'll get the hang of thngs soon and won't be asking you a billion things a night! I so appreciate all you've done...but especially for cheering me the other night by searching out sv LJ communities for me where I could share MOTP. Sunnnier days indeed did follow and I'm so grateful. You're the absolute BEST...many hugs and friendship splats from me to you!!! Yay! At last I get to see this wonderful vid of yours! :D I have tried to download it before but not succeeded. I've been wanting to watch it ever since talitha78 recced it and I'm delighted to be able to do so as it definitely warranted her enthusiasm.

I'm very impressed with your vidding--your use of cross-fades in particular to draw out visual connections and add emotional resonance is very sophisticated. It's something I really struggle with in my own vidding so I envy you your eye for such things.

I'm also blown away by the scope of the vid and the seamlessness with which you blend moments from across six seasons. The inescapable nature of fate is well explored through Lex here, without making him a 'woobie' character; he comes across as powerful, locked in an eternal struggle with his destiny and linked to Clark.

I'm sure I'll have lots more to think about on rewatch. I can tell this is a vid I'll enjoy for a long time. Thank you!

WOW..thank you so much bop_radar for this fabulous review. I'm thrilled by your comments on my editing, that you feel my use of crossfades draws out visual connections and adds emotional resonance. A good amount of crossfading (along with overlaying) seem to be the way I paint a video, (even when I try not to, lol), so I am excited you feel it was instrumental in getting my story across. I really appreciate the things you say about the scope of the vid and how you feel I blended six seasons into it seamlessly, too. I'm very flattered to know this vid is one you feel you'll be enjoying for a long time!

I'm so sorry you initially had trouble getting to see the vid, but so grateful you kept trying and took the time to come leave such such wonderful feedback. I treasure it.
