A surprised, hurt look crosses Bobby's face. "But - I thought - Why?"
John turns his head sharply. "Because. You'll regret this come Monday. Now just fuck off, Bobby."
And with only another hurt, angry look back, he does, leaving John behind.
Always leaving John behind.
