My post has nothing to do with the book, really. But, I did read it last semester. It was okay. Did you know there was a sequel, "No Longer At Ease"?

I liked it a bit better (we also had to read it for the class). It was about Okonkwo's son, Obi, and how he's supposed to be going to school to be a doctor and making a life for himself outside of Nigeria. However, he ends up screwing himself over by getting a girl pregnant, accepting bribes, and basically being a sleeze. Pretty different from "Things Fall Apart".
