diabetes fundraising

this saturday jared is doing a 100 kM bike ride in ellicott city, to support research, advocacy, and education on diabetes. my dad has it, his dad has it, and it's a disease that affects a lot of people. no pressure to contribute, but i might as well give you guys the option. if you do donate, comment on this entry and tell me, and you will get a

I can't donate any money for this right now, but I will be cheering him on. I'm diabetic, and it's so great to see people working for the cause.

your positive thoughts are appreciated too. it's his first year doing this, and i'm having a feeling it'll be a recurring fundraiser... he's reached his original goal already, so at this point i'm just seeing if i can help him raise extra. thanks!
