This particular martial art is nothing BUT swords. You start out with a wooden one, though, so you don't accidentally kill yourself. What martial art were you doing that you got a yellow advanced in?

I'm assuming that was done with a bokken?
By the way, I remembered why I seemed to remember you. Aside from seeing you a few times in person (probably in passing at furry cons), when I got a job as an accountant for a gummi bear company (Haribo), Hudofu, apparently our mutual friend, mentioned you a few times.
By the way, since you keep in touch with Russian furs, do you know Jar?

Wonder why a Kendo practicioner would have one, since they use bamboo shinai *shrug* I don't have a real sword, either. Just an iaito, which is basically the same, but of much lower quality, and unsharpened. Still cost me as much as a PS3 though (I don't own a PS3).
I didn't know Moscow, or any part of ex USSR, even had something like Kendo. I guess a lot changed since USSR collapsed and bordered were opened up. Then again, I'm originally from Kiev, Ukraine, so I don't really know all that much about Moscow, anyway.
Hudofu and I keep in touch all the time, since we went to the same university, and he lives nearby, but I haven't heard from Jar in a while. What're your thoughts on him? We barely talk, but I met him through SirKain/Kendall.
