Happy Halloween! As you can see, I have a REAL comic up, instead of just some sissy "Dress Up" filler. Yup. I really went all out this time

I feel creepy, but it is just a coincidence that I happend upon your site just after you posted the new issue... I have you favorited and accidently clicked the link... Good issue, just one thing, in the ophelia pic is says "obsure" instead of obscure... I'm not one to talk though, I handwrite all my talk bubbles and do them quite messy with spelling mistakes, so I'm not a nag just letting you know ;) Ummm... Anyways... good issue really liked it keep it up! OH and I posted the season 2 finale on my site... FINALLY did it the other night...
I love how a Tuxedo Mask costume apparently makes you go crazy. :)
You've forgotten a very important category -- the "lame pun-based costume that you have to explain every time". Like taking a wolfman costume ear, sticking it on your forhead, and saying you're "the wild frontier". (Front-ear, geddit? Yeah, nevermind.) Or coming with a clearly-labelled half-eaten tuna sandwich in a plastic bag around your neck, and claiming to be a "man eating fish". ;)
Halloween isn't a big deal over here, but I've certainly seen a fair share of themed parties -- "Come as your favourite conspiracy" was pretty good, as was "Fantasy Villains & Henchpeople". :) I guess the big difference is whether you're dressed up in front of friends, or in front of people who are liable to be annoying idiots. Friends tend to be more forgiving if you turn up with a bottle of eardrops labelled "Poison", and claim to be Hamlet's uncle...
...I actually cackle-laughed at both of those pun costumes.
It's funny, because the exact things that most people find stupid suit my sense of humor perfectly. For example, 5 years after hearing it for the first time, I still laugh every time someone re-tells the 'dead ant/pink panther' joke.
I loved the expression on makeshift-Frank's paper mache-d face. It made me chuckle.
Also, you're totally right about the kisses! MY MOM LOVES THEM. Though I think we figured that out the year that the point glove/pinky swear halloween happened?
Seriously though. Those things are gross. I guess Mom's have to acquire a taste for gross things in order to survive. Ie, Val.
That about sums it up! But seriously, Pompom, drowning Ophelia? Hell yes! It's something I'll try to do, and fail utterly... but then Karen will try and have the best costume ever.
