Still alive and thank goodness I don't need Chantix!

Not much going on new for me. School work eats my life. I did, however, come across this actual legal disclaimer from a commercial for the stop smoking product, Chantix. Almost as long as the whole commercial itself.

I think that commercial alone would make me keep smoking instead of taking the drug.

Whenever they advertise a drug, they're required to reveal absolutely anything adverse that happened to anyone in the clinical trial, regardless whether there was any evidence whatsoever of a causal relationship. If you look into it, usually there's a much shorter list of actual side effects you can expect.

I realize that. But I prefer to not use chemicals as much as possible anyways. So these disclaimers help me feel better that I am not taking six pills a day like other people my age are doing already. I actually thought the big text block about suicidal thoughts and actions was the most interesting thing. Big difference between the two. If I have tried a suicidal action, I think there would be a number of things I would be talking to someone about (unless of course the action was successful and then I wouldn't need the drug anymore).

People are better off going cold turkey and skipping the rashes and allergic asphyxiation.
