Good news first. I passed my final part of my comprehensive exams that have consumed my life for the better part of the last few months. I am now a PhD Candidate and just have to get a dissertation topic approved and complete the dissertation to get my PhD. I am so relived and happy that I can not explain

I just talked to him on the phone. It does look like he should be able to get back into his place and nothing really got damaged. It is just more of the weird stuff that happens to him.

And of course as I say everything should be fine, they condemn the building. But they are moving him to a new apartment right now.
