That was very sad and sweet. A realistic depiction on how Holmes would feel about something happening to his best friend. I love how they made up in the end. Will there be a sequel?

I know this sounds so silly, but I just have to leave a note and tell you how glad I am that you wrote this.

My husband is a paraplegic.

I read this story earlier today and bawled my eyes out and when he came home from work I showed it to him and we've been sitting here for hours now crying over how beautiful it is.

It doesn't sound silly at all.

I primarily write fanfiction for fun, but every once in a while, a reader tells me that something made their day better or made them smile when they needed it, and it's a wonderful thing for me to know that in some tiny, tiny way that I've touched/brightened the life of a stranger.

This story, I did not write for fun, but for a very specific request for someone who needed a little comfort. Knowing that it touched not only that person, but others as well? That's just an amazing gift for me.
