Why do they say They're going to CALL?

Its Tuesday night, but it feels like a Friday night! I finished my last final today. I feel like I should be going out or something. Well I was supposed to. Never called.... What a loser. not me, him. I'll be home soon enough. Not that will necessarilly be better
