[oh boy. Sheena crouches down and motions to Sial first, taking the stick and tossing it pretty far before looking up at Emil]

Huh? Nothing, it's just... [Deflection tactic go!] ... they just kidnapped Yuri.

[her eyes narrow at him. Look, she's got all her vision back and even without it Emil reads like a kids' book most of the time]

[Which is true; he's concerned about what effect that whole being-merged-and-separated thing has had on them. He's also concerned about what it means for him and Ratatosk.]

[while he's seen stranger than a chimera, Sanji still pauses on his walk and watches the animal curiously.

[Sial happily races off after the stick.

It's a moment or two before Emil realizes what his pet is up to, but when he does, he walks over to Sanji.]

I'm really sorry he bothered you like that. I should've been paying more attention to him.

[ Polka sure is getting around today. And ... actually Sial, cute little thing that it is, may pick out the smell of delicious fluffy muffins. Even monsters like to eat right? But seeing the owner looking so down, Polka stops short, torn between staring in amazement at the not-a-kitty and questioning what seemed to trouble the blonde boy. She goes for Option B. ]

[Oh, Sial smells those muffins all right, which is why he stops, sniffs the air, and then makes a beeline over to Polka and her basket of muffins. Now he's just going to sit there and look cute in the hopes of being fed.

Emil, meanwhile, will glance up at the sound of her voice, looking a bit surprised.]

Oh, I'm fine, I was just thinking-- Sial, leave her alone!

[Then to Polka again.]

I'm sorry, he gets too curious about new people sometimes. I can pick him up if he's getting in your way or anything.

[ A-aaww. Polka takes a step back more out of surprise than fear when the little chimera runs over. When Emil looks towards her, she's already in the process of leaning down with a chuckle, offering a hand and hoping Sial doesn't decide human flesh is more delicious than fluffy muffins. ]

Heehee, it's all right! [ She glances up at Emil with a smile. ] He isn't in my way at all. He's adorable - what's his name?

[Sial will sniff at the offered hand for a few moments before giving it a quick lick to see if it tastes like whatever it is in that basket that smells so good. He knows enough not to bite, though. Biting will not get him delicious food.]

His name is Sial. He's a chimera-- it's a type of monster from my world.
