Back during finals week I lent my PlayStation 2 and TV to someone down the hall so they could watch Star Wars on DVD. Five minutes after I left the room, they came to tell me that the DVD wasn't working. So we tried a few things, but it kept saying "Disc read error." "Great," I thought. It's broken. Huh...my roommates PS2 has the exact same problem...I think an expedition into that console is in order this evening....

That's the guide I used. I didn't use a can of compressed air, though, because I didn't have one and didn't want to travel far to get one. You will need a jeweler's screwdriver, though.
