I've been thinking lately of dropping WoW; I rarely play it now. BUT GalCiv2! NICE. Been playing this for HOURS AND HOURS. I like it much better than GalCiv1. (combat sucked in 1)

I'm in a current game now where one Civ has been crushing the others except me. Been at war for ages, but I've finally started turning the tide and taking his planets. His military rating is like 243 and mine is only 88, but he's so obsessed with just one of my planets that he keeps throwing his fleets at it. (Omega Defense System FTW. Double Hit Points in orbit is a blessing) I noticed last night he finally came up with a new ship config that counters my Uber Missle ships. Time to head back to shipyard!

(Oh, and I hate the time change as well. There's ALWAYS one or two servers that don't get adjusted and then batch jobs start failing all over the place. We're a 24 hour world now. Changing the clock saves zero energy. It's pointless.)

Agreed, DST is dumb. Especially in indiana and arizona, which dont' observe. Double hassle for the lose. I occasionally get burned out by wow and take a few weeks break, but being in a large raiding guild and getting purplez every few weeks is still a bit of a thrill, so that's good. I love messing with the ship designs... i've got a game going currently where i had 3 star systems with at least 3 class 12 planets or better (one 20!) right next to my starting system. I colonized those ASAP, but the big warmachine in the galaxy came and took a few before i had my defenses built up. Whats great is all the influence satellites i'm building around them should help me recapture them with ease, while my free lucky ranger ship i fortunately found goes system to system and destroys all their ships. :)

OH! also, what server you on? if you like, create a horde character on deathwing, I'll get you in my said large raiding guild (mc tonight, but low on dkp, no drops for me! ;) and pimp you out.. 60 hunter and warror, and all crafting skills represent.
