Crows. I'd forgotten he was so damned short when he first showed up at the Academy. Seems like all he did, time he was seventeen onwards, was grow like a bloody weed.
Ah, Furies. Not so sure what to do. Watercraft's holding, for now. It's harder to look eighteen than you might think. And I can't tell him bully all, because if he goes back, knowing who he is - no idea what it'll change. Everything. Nothing. Maybe he'd do me a favor and tell me ahead of time that Rialia has a very overprotective, very angry father. Heh.
It's sort of hard. My opinion of him's never changed over the years - he's a good kid. Solid. And he grew up to be a better man. But he'll buck my protection, likelier than not, in this place. And Gaius Sextus will bloody well have me drawn and quartered if anything happens to his heir.
Bloody Crows, I have a headache.
So, er, who all's going to kill me if I accidentally, ah... 'dispatched' of the last cup of Ianto's coffee? You know, I figure I'll keep a tally. Make you all take numbers.
On that macabre note, if anyone wants to go get raucously drunk, now's your chance! I'll even buy, gentleman that I am.
So,
this kid, here? I've dragged him in to stay with us - no worries, he's both small and taking my bunk. Eats like a horse, though. He's from my world, Tosh, I mentioned him to you, aye? I spoke to Jack, but I'll reiterate it to the rest of you - he grows up to be my best friend, and I'd rather not have to scrape him off any walls, floors or ceilings any time soon. I can look out for him just fine under my own power, but I'd appreciate if you lot could keep an eye on him too.
