Thanks for pointing this way! I've seen several of the movies - Boys Don't Cry (which was heartwrenching), All About My Mother (which I remember very little of, for some reason), and Before Night Falls (Johnny Depp was BRILLIANT) - but haven't read any of the books.

I hope I didn't make you worry too much with my comment! I know that sometimes people do read something for the first time and make assumptions like "oh, this is how being a transsexual is!" without putting it into context or acknowledging that everyone is different in their experience and personality.

Anyway, I'll stop bothering you now. :D

& enjoy the books! & movies! Different for Girls is especially charming.

Totally off topic - your Christmas card came winging its way back with labels all over it explaining 'addressee no longer at this address' and 'unable to forward' etc. You obviously moved/hid without telling anybody and will have to make do with an e-card which will have the same intentions but can't easily be displayed on the shelves.

Very late comment--I just read your trans!Snape fanfic after finding it through a post listed in metafandom--but Transgeneration, a tv series about trans college-age students that airs on the Sundance Channel, is very good.
