Quite unlike me to write about such an important bit of news so long after it's been written about in the Daily Prophet, but, come now -- it's rather obvious that Zara Quince would be the best person to succeed Kingsley Shacklebolt as the next Minister for Magic, isn't it? I think we all know who's going to get it. She's the only one with credentials or whatever and she's the only one attractive enough to represent us. We don't want the rest of the world thinking we're ugly like Una Atherton.

Now now, Amity darling -- beauty is entirely subjective, though I quite agree that good looks do matter for one to be taken seriously! I, of course, need not worry there when I become Minister one day, I'm sure.

You know, you ought to come out to the debate and sign-up for her team then -- I think you'd do a spiffing job with it.

I think a debate on the subject is a fine idea, Edward. Certainly a more effective means than bickering in journals.
